Passenger train 322 (a SP42 locomotive and two Bh cars) has arrived to Kalisz Pomorski in the dusk of a cold winter day in March, 2003. The passengers have left the train which will now make a 40-minute pause before going back to Stargard Szczecinski.

Bogatynia in the most southwestern point of Poland is a strange place.
Once connected to Zittau (Germany) and Frydlant (Czech Republic) by an
east-west narrow gauge line, a standard gauge line from the north
(from Zawidow) was built in the 1950s to serve the mining and
electricity industry. Nowadays only two passenger train pairs
run to/from Bogatynia. As you can see, there is no service to

A diesel locomotive of class SP42 is preparing to leave Chabówka
with a train to Nowy Saçz on 20 November. For sure this is one
of the most beautiful train rides in Poland. Great landscape
(especially with snow), nice hills and a quiet pace: some 50km in
about 3 hours!
