BCZ_522170-38525.jpg (78107 bytes)

BCZ_52 21 70-38 525 in Berlin-Lichtenberg on seventh of June 2005. The third and fourth ciffers are the code of the owner-country. The other two cars of BCZ shows 20, the code of the former Sovjet Union. I assume today it is used by Russia (compare the RZD cars). Here it is 21 and I assume again that it is for Bieyla Russia. Is here someone who could explain why the other two cars don't show the 21?

Jan_Kiepura_5.jpg (54115 bytes)

EN 348 "Jan Kiepura" (Warszawa Wschodnia->Bruxelles Midi/Brussel Zuid, with through-cars from Minsk and Moskva Belorusskaja), seen upon arrival at its final destination.
This is the rear end, with cars of RZD (from Moscow) and BC (from Minsk).

Sadly, this service ignores the International sector (Tracks 3-6, for Thalys, TGV and ICE services), and is conversely accommodated in the (not-so-nice) area allocated to domestic traffic...

Sleeping-car of BC (WLABmee), seen on the compartment-side, in the consist of EN 348 "Jan Kiepura" (Warszawa Wschodnia->Bruxelles Midi/Brussel Zuid).
It actually runs as a through-car from Minsk.

Tour du Midi/Zuidertoren stands in the background, further left.

Route panel of a Sleeping-car (WLABmee) of BC, diagrammed on EN 349 "Jan Kiepura" (Bruxelles Midi/Brussel Zuid--->Warszawa-Wschodnia, with through-cars to Minsk and Moskva-Belorusskaja).

Both Cyrillic and Latin scripts are used, but "Bruxsel" is kinda alternative spelling.
