Two EMU trainsets built in Riga ex USSR, at Komunari station. On the left is the trainset 32014-114-214-013 that has just arrived from Shumen as train 30155 and waits to continue backwards to Shindel and Varna. On the right are two trainsets together, 32071/2+32075/6 that have just arrived from Varna as train 30156 to Karnobat. The station stuff is going to cut off the second trainset and put it to the left one to get back in Varna in double traction as the other one will continue its trip to Karnobat. BDZ has a serie of 79 electrical multiple units of class 32. The units were built between 1973 and 1978 by Riga. They are used in suburbs an local trains over the whole electrified network. On the 2nd may 1997 unit 32.146-3 + 323.46-9 + 323.45-1 + 32.145-5 on a Sofia - Plovdiv regional train is awaiting for overtaking by an express train in Septemvri station.
